Who I work with
I work with adults and teens with any level of experience. I particularly love to work with actors and dancers who are newer to singing, adults who sing for the joy of it, and high school students preparing for college auditions in musical theatre or classical singing.
My teaching is grounded in anatomy-based vocal pedagogy and body awareness, helping students understand not just what their voices are doing, but why. I combine technical exploration with practical tools that students can take into rehearsals, auditions, and performance. I believe that good vocal technique should support whatever a student actually wants to sing—from pop to opera and everything in between.
Above all, I believe that voice lessons should be collaborative. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum, I work with each student to identify their goals and lets those goals shape the lesson. Whether a student wants to build confidence, prepare a specific song, strengthen their technique, expand their range, or simply feel more comfortable using their voice, I do my best to create a supportive environment where students can develop the tools and confidence to sing in a way that feels authentic to them.
