TAKE LESSONS WITH MELAINA
I am a passionate music educator, having taught a wide range of ages from early childhood music classes to private lessons for adults. I maintain a private studio of piano and voice students and feel fortunate to be able to help children and adults of all ages discover the richness that music can bring to their lives. I teach in-person in NYC and remotely.
My primary goals as a teacher are to:
Foster a lifelong love and appreciation for music
Help students develop a healthy technique that will support them for as long as they want to sing
Support students in reaching their goals and building confidence
Create well-rounded musicians by teaching technique and musicianship in an engaging way, exposing students to a variety of genres and styles
Create a safe, stress-free environment where students can explore
Be a force of positivity for my students
